Warning: A bodybubble is an unusual chair which provides a high level of mobility to the sitter. People who are not familiar with sitting on a bodybubble should take care that they remain stable and balanced. Like many chairs it is possible to unbalance and fall to the floor. The owner of a bodybubble should warn people sitting on it for the first time to pay attention to balance and to location of feet and buttocks.

FAQ: Bodybubble Frequently Asked Questions.
What
is a bodybubble?
A bodybubble airchair is like a beanbag filled with air instead of
beans. It has a cloth cover containing a bladder.
A bodybubble convertible has an additional velcro strip on
the backrest which makes it possible to lock the backrest inside the base.
The result is a drum shaped ball which is the ideal size and shape for many
bodywork activities such as exercise, stretching, yoga and massage.
What is special about a bodybubble? A bodybubble can be used as a rocking chair and a recliner. The backrest supports your back at every angle of recline. It is much less expensive than the usual rocker-recliners available. It is about the same price as a similar sized beanbag but much softer, more comfortable, and silent too. It also has an elastic system built-in to absorb shock and add comfort. You will be shocked by the comfort!
How do you inflate a bodybubble? The air inlet nozzle is zipped inside the underside of a bodybubble. The nozzle fits the car's air outlet at a gas station. You can also use an airbed pump or vacuum cleaner, or do it by mouth in about 20 minutes.
How do I sit on a bodybubble? When you first sit on a bodybubble you may feel unstable. It is like the shock of sitting on a chair you didn't know was a rocking chair. Start by putting your feet shoulder width apart, then sit right in the middle with the backrest right behind you. Once you get the feel and balance of the bodybubble you can try different sitting positions and reclining. Sooner or later you will have the transcendent bodybubble bliss experience and you will never look back at the old style chair again.
How do I feel music on a bodybubble? Your bodybubble will vibrate or resonate when you play music near it. When you sit or lie on your bodybubble near the speakers you will feel the music in your body. This can provide you with a deep whole-body experience of your music.
Why is a bodybubble excellent to sit on while nursing a baby? You can support your baby's legs on the soft sides of your bodybubble while nursing. You can also rock to soothe your baby.
Why do children love bodybubbles? Children love the softness, bounciness, and lightness of a bodybubble. They love to sit on and play with a bodybubble. Older children should be discouraged from being really rough with a bodybubble.
Why is a bodybubble eco-friendly? Most airchairs are made of PVC (i.e. vinyl: manufacturers say vinyl because PVC is generally known as a very serious pollutant). The bladder in a bodybubble is made of a recyclable biodegradable plastic which does not have serious environmental side-effects.
Does a bodybubble loose air? All types of inflatables slowly loose air, but the plastic used in a bodybubble is the most leak resistant plastic available. It is a high tech plastic used in helium blimps. A bodybubble sat on for a total of 40 hours typically needs about four puffs to top it up.
Can a bodybubble pop? For a bodybubble to pop the fabric would have to tear open and then the bladder would have to burst.... the force required to do this would be many hundred kilograms. A load of 350kg was placed on a bodybubble without any sign of bursting. The bodybubble has an elastic system inside which absorbs sudden shocks.
I have a cat: is that a problem? Yes, a cat's claws can penetrate the fabric and make holes in the bladder. Clip your pets claws and/or put a couple of thick blankets over your bodybubble.
How can I avoid accidental holes in my bodybubble? Pickup any staples or pins off the floor. Don't use drawing pins which point upwards when they fall off the wall. Do not drag your bodybubble over a rose bush. If you must use your bodybubble outside, put it on a blanket or tarpaulin.
Can a bodybubble bladder be repaired? A new bladder can be purchased from Bodybubble International at low cost by mail order. Holes in a bladder can be repaired by taping over them with packing tape. Finding the holes may require special methods: contact Bodybubble International for advice.
